GET MOVING WITH LDT!
The goal: Get moving and have fun
In a festive atmosphere, young people discover different physical activity areas – from football to karate, yoga, tchoukball, and dance, not to mention the celebrated LDT parkour – in which they work in teams and figure out challenges. The goal: to get moving and have fun!
The GET MOVING WITH LDT! program has two parts: the regular program and the provincial tour.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the GET MOVING WITH LDT! program is currently on hold. It will be relaunched when conditions are safe.
Regular sports program
To get kids moving on a continual basis, the LDT Foundation, in partnership with the organization ruelle de l’avenir, has created a program that enables Grade 6 students in the Commission scolaire de Montréal to discover new physical activities, with a truly inspiring team of animators. The pedagogical expertise of ruelle de l’avenir has provided a strong basis for formulation of this new and stimulating sports program for young people.
GET MOVING WITH LDT! TOUR
On board the LDT bus, the LDT Foundation reaches out to Grade 6 students all over Quebec to offer them turnkey multi-sports days. Specially adapted to transport the sports equipment needed to hold GET MOVING WITH LDT! days, the LDT bus is the Foundation’s emblem.
Because we are our future, our bus is 100% electric! We are grateful to our partner Lion Electric for making our many trips as green as possible.
We also count on the support of the Fédération des producteurs d’œufs du Québec, which provides the energy that keeps our kids going by offering healthy meals from their food trailer, Le Bistro à Coco.
